Explore a 3D Times Square and put your app logo or product ad on one of 605 virtual billboards. Take any spot with 10% more; pay only the difference to win it back.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
Every indie maker jokes about "we've made it when we're on a Times Square billboard." I wanted to see how close I could get for the price of a coffee.
So I rebuilt the square. The buildings are real geometry — 319 of them from NYC Planning's public 2014 aerial survey, with the streets and plazas from OpenStreetMap. You start at 7th Ave & W45th, facing One Times Square, and you can walk around it.
Across those buildings there are 605 individually bookable billboards, sized like the real thing: Spectaculars three stories tall on the main-street walls, Larges, and Standard panels crowding the lower floors. Click any one, upload your logo or product ad, and preview it on the actual building before you commit. Prices scale with screen area, frontage, height and landmark status.
The auction is deliberately simple: every spot is always takeable for 10% above the current bid, and if it was yours before, you only pay the difference to win it back. Your ad shows up for every visitor.
Built with Three.js, Vite and Supabase. Day/night lighting, an aerial tour, and real Times Square ambience if you turn the sound on.
Curious what you all think — and which spot you'd grab first. The screens facing the red steps are the ones everyone fights over 🙂
