Nowra is a simple place for the things you need right now but don't need to remember forever. Speak or type a thought, and it stays visible on your screen through widgets until you're done. Punch it and it's gone. No endless lists, no notifications, no accounts, no clutter. Just a temporary parking spot for your thoughts, tasks, and little things you don't want to lose. Now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
I kept running into a small problem. I’d think of something I needed to do right now:
“Send that email before lunch.”
“Ask John about something.”
“Buy milk on the way home.”
“Remember where I parked.”
I didn’t really need a reminder. I didn’t want to add another item to my task list. And I definitely didn’t need to save it forever in Notes.
I just needed to put it somewhere I would see it until I was done with it. That simple observation led me to build Nowra.
The idea is intentionally simple:
Put something in front of you.
See it.
Punch it when you're done.
It's gone.
Nowra isn’t trying to replace your task manager or become your second brain. It’s for the little things that are important right now, but don’t deserve a permanent place in your life.
I’ve now shipped Nowra on the App Store, and it's also available on iPad and Mac.
If you’ve ever thought:
“I don’t need a reminder. I just need this in front of me.”
Give Nowra a try. And if you do, I'd genuinely love to hear: what's the first thing you put in Nowra?
