A tiny widget that lives inside the Windows taskbar and shows whatever's playing, so you stop alt-tabbing to your music. It follows any player through the Windows media session (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Windows Media Player), with play/pause, skip and a seekable progress bar. For Spotify it also shows the liked state and controls Smart Shuffle, repeat and volume. No login, no API keys, no account. Free, open source, runs on Windows 10 and 11.

Hi everyone. I built this because the taskbar has all this dead space next to the clock, and every music miniplayer either floats over your windows or makes you switch apps to see what's playing. So I put it inside the taskbar instead, always visible, never in the way. It started as a Spotify-only thing and people kept asking why, so now it follows whatever's actually playing. The most recent update brings Windows 10 support, which was the top request, and a compact mode that shrinks the widget to just the album art when your taskbar fills up. It's free and open source. There's an optional Pro for themes, a visualizer, synced lyrics and hotkeys, but the whole core is free. Happy to answer anything and I read every bug report.
