Novij Protocol is a distributed data and developer infrastructure layer for zero-trust collaboration. Clients encrypt and sign data locally, access is evaluated from append-only policy history, and Relay/Storage nodes operate on ciphertext without receiving decryption keys. The working stack includes Protocol v3, SDK, Relay, Storage and public applications.

Hi Product Hunt — I built Novij Protocol around a practical question: how can we collaborate using someone else's servers without having to trust the server owner with our data and access rules?
The result is a working Protocol v3 stack where clients encrypt and sign locally, Relay and Storage handle ciphertext, and permissions are evaluated from signed append-only history. The current post-quantum profile uses ML-DSA-65 and ML-KEM-768 alongside AES-256-GCM and SHA3/Keccak.
There are working SDK, Relay/Storage components and public applications for files, ERP workflows, backups, monitoring and a wallet. I am especially interested in feedback from infrastructure, security and developer-tool builders.
The limits matter too: availability still needs replicas and backups, metadata can remain observable, and cryptography cannot make somebody forget data they already decrypted and copied.
