Norse Computer makes running Hermes Agent privately practical for people who don’t want to manage cloud infrastructure. Our guided deployment agent installs and configures Hermes Agent in your Google Cloud account with secure access, automated backups, uptime monitoring, and ongoing updates. You keep control of the cloud account, credentials, and data. Norse Computer handles the technical setup and maintenance.
I started Norse Computer because AI assistants can do more when you trust them with private access to your systems. I believe that access should remain under your control, which is why Norse Computer deploys the assistant in your own cloud account instead of hosting it in ours.
I love Hermes Agent because it is powerful, open source, and works with any AI model. But running it reliably in the cloud takes a lot of tinkering. I spent a lot of time testing different setups before settling on one I trust.
Norse Computer began as a done-for-you service for people who wanted Hermes Agent deployed to Google Cloud. Now a Norse Computer AI agent automates almost all of that work. Our agents can also help improve your setup, troubleshoot problems, and update Hermes.
The subscription is $30/month. You pay Google Cloud for hosting and your model provider for usage.
If you've tried to run an AI agent in the cloud, what took more tinkering than you expected?
