Preview local Markdown files in Chrome without the usual nonsense. Open amd file, get a clean readable view with a table of contents, and move on. Nothing is uploaded, synced, tracked, or saved. No accounts, no cloud, no settings to tweak — just a fast, local Markdown viewer that works.

I built this because I wanted the dumbest possible Markdown viewer — in a good way.
I just wanted to open .md files in Chrome and have them look clean. No setup. No account. No sync. No “configure your workspace.” No weird upload-to-cloud flow. Just: open file → read Markdown.
A few things I cared about:
Runs locally in the browser
No tracking, no uploads, no cloud anything
Works offline
Opens local .md files with a clean reading view
Includes a table of contents
Tiny extension — currently ~40KB
Open source
It does not collect or use user data.
This is intentionally not trying to be Notion, Obsidian, or a full Markdown editor ( or even a markdown editor ) . It’s just a boring, fast viewer that gets out of the way.
Would love feedback, especially from people who read local docs, README files, notes, or exported Markdown often. Its open source - feel free to modify and use however you want - even publish for community ( I will accept pulls and publish to webstore)
