Hey everyone. I'm the maker behind Nidrno, and I want to start with the honest reason this exists because I think it matters more than the feature list. Every single one of us dreams, every night, without exception. But we lose most of it; some dreams disappear within seconds of waking up, and most of the rest by the time we've had breakfast. The ones that survive are usually the strangest, most fantasy-like ones, the ones that feel like they came from somewhere else entirely, the ones we actually want to tell someone about. And even then, the pattern repeats: we mean to write it down or tell a friend, and we just... don't get around to it. By the next night, it's gone, quietly replaced by a new dream we'll probably also forget. I kept living that exact loop myself. A vivid dream, a quiet promise to me to remember it, and by the afternoon, gone. Occasionally I'd try to tell someone about one in person, and watch their attention drift about ten seconds in. Dreams are strangely hard to tell well out loud, but they're incredibly easy to write if you just have somewhere to put them before they slip away. That's really what Nidrno is. It's a place built for that exact gap, the space between "I need to remember this" and "I forgot to write it down." A place to catch your dream before it disappears and realize that the strange, fantastical world in your head every night might be something the rest of the world actually wants to read. A few things I tried to get right: It's a journal first, a feed second. Every dream you write becomes part of your own private-feeling history, even though it's shared publicly. Your profile becomes a running record of your dream life, which was surprisingly emotional to see once I had a few months of entries. Tags that actually reflect how dreams differ. Nightmares, travel dreams, recurring dreams, lucid dreams, and more, because a nightmare and a dream about flying to a childhood home are completely different kinds of writing, and I wanted the platform to reflect that instead of treating every entry the same. A real community layer, not just a diary app with a "public" toggle. You can follow people whose dream-writing you like, bookmark ones that hit you in a specific way, and build something closer to a small, strange, sincere social network than a journaling tool. No pressure to be a "good writer." Some of the best entries on NIDRNO so far are three sentences long. Some are 500 words. Both are welcome. I built this because I wanted it to exist for myself and figured I probably wasn't the only person carrying around dreams with nowhere real to put them.
