Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Roland, passionate indie hacker from Austria.
I built NicheAtlas because every time I wanted to validate a side project idea, I'd spend hours jumping between Google Trends, Ahrefs, Reddit, and scattered blog posts — only to end up with a messy spreadsheet and more questions than answers.
And honestly? The hardest part wasn't even validation — it was coming up with ideas in the first place. I'd stare at a blank page, scroll through "business idea" threads, and still feel stuck. I wanted a tool where I could just browse through real, data-backed opportunities and let something click. That's exactly what NicheAtlas became for me — not just a research tool, but an idea engine. You can literally scroll through thousands of niches, filter by opportunity score or search volume, and stumble into markets you never knew existed.
So I built an automated pipeline that pulls real search data, analyzes competitor gaps, identifies pain points from Reddit and forums, and scores each niche by opportunity. Then I wrapped it all in a fast, searchable dashboard.
Every niche profile gives you:
- Search volume & trend direction
- CPC and competition level
- Pain points with evidence links
- Competitor landscape & gaps
- MVP idea + required features
- How-to-win strategy
- Related subreddits & keywords
The core product is free and requires no signup. I'm adding new niches daily through an automated research pipeline.
I'd love to hear what niches you're exploring — and what data would help you ship faster. Happy to answer any questions!
