Neurix: Offline AI chat for your phone and PC, no account

Hi PH, I'm Saqlain. I'm from Skardu in northern Pakistan, and when you drive out of town the signal is gone for hours. I used ChatGPT for almost everything and lost it every time I left.

Neurix runs small open models (Qwen 3.5, LFM 2.5, Gemma 4) on the device through llama.cpp. You download one once and it works on a flight, on a mountain road, or just when you don't want to send something private to a server.

What it can't do yet, so nobody is surprised: small models are slower and less clever than ChatGPT and it runs on the CPU. Text only for now. The Android APK isn't on the Play Store yet, and the Windows installer isn't signed. No Mac or Linux builds yet (it builds from source).

I'd love to know which phone you tried it on and what speed the built in speed test showed.
