Nescio ID: One real human per account. No personal data.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 Every online game has the same problem: one person, fifty accounts. Smurfs in ranked, bots farming rewards, banned cheaters back in five minutes with a new email. The usual fixes are either weak (phone numbers, CAPTCHAs) or invasive (ID uploads, selfies, KYC vendors holding a copy of your passport forever). Nescio ID takes a different route. Nescio is Latin for "I do not know", and that's the design, not the slogan. How it works Your game asks Nescio to start a verification and shows the player a QR code. The player scans their passport's NFC chip with a passport app on their phone (Self or ZKPassport), which creates a zero-knowledge proof. Nescio checks the proof and hands your game an anonymous player ID that only means something inside your game, plus yes/no claims like "real human" and "18+" if you asked. We never receive or store a name, date of birth, document number, or face image. The same person gets the same ID every time they come back to your game, so bans actually stick and second accounts get caught. The IDs differ per game, so nobody (including us) can link a player across games. For developers: three REST calls, a sandbox key the moment you sign up (mock passports, no real documents), and a dashboard showing verified players and blocked duplicates. Only totals, never individuals. Live keys are approved by us before they touch real documents. Try it without signing up: 🎮 Arena: a ranked game.
