Hi, I’m Larry. I built Nator after watching YouTube videos in a second language. I could read the subtitles, but still lose the thread when an unfamiliar term came up.
Nator keeps bilingual subtitles with the video and adds short, time-linked cards when a term or idea needs context. I made it for people who use YouTube to learn, especially across languages.
It’s a Chrome extension and works with videos whose captions Nator can access.
If you try it, I’d love to know: what were you watching, and was there a moment when a card helped you follow the explanation?
Hey Product Hunt! I built Nator to make it easier to learn from YouTube in another language. It keeps bilingual subtitles and narration cards alongside the video, so you can follow the language and keep the useful context together. What gets in your way most when learning from YouTube: the language, unfamiliar terms, or keeping track of what you learned? I’d love to hear your feedback.
