I built NanoPoint because I was frustrated with both traditional presentation-making and the current generation of “PPT agents.” Making a good deck manually is slow. But many AI presentation tools aren’t much better: they consume a surprising amount of time and tokens, while the final result often still needs heavy rework. As image models keep improving, I started to believe there is another path: image → presentation. Instead of asking an agent to painstakingly construct every element of a slide, NanoPoint uses modern image generation to produce high-quality visual presentations at a much lower cost. I think this could make good presentation design far more accessible. You shouldn’t need to be a designer, spend hours adjusting layouts, or burn a huge amount of compute just to clearly present an idea. The longer-term goal is not to stop at generated images. NanoPoint is also building an export pipeline that turns the result into a PowerPoint file that can be edited again afterwards. That editable export workflow is still under development today, but it is one of the most important parts of the project. Ultimately, I want NanoPoint to make it extremely cheap and easy for anyone to turn an idea into something worth presenting.
