Parenting is a very personal thing. Having raised 3 babies without any tech support (and in the 2000's, no less) I feel I would not be in the market for this. Yet I can understand how reassuring it can be for anxious parents - borderlining control freaks, maybe. Upvoted as the design looks great.

@degrems Thanks for the upvote. We totally agree with you, parenting is a very personal thing and everyone's style is different. I appreciate the comments on design, we've put a lot of effort in creating the perfectly designed product.

We use a Nest and not sure there's much else here that would lead me to switch (i.e. not 10x better). That said, if I were making the initial decision this has some nice features (white noise, and a better summary vs. Nest). The one thing that bugs me with Nest is ability to share access with nanny, parents when they visit, etc... If this enables easy (and limited) access control that would be a winner - note that Nest says they are but given the turmoil over there who knows

@pjbeans79 At Nanit we are allowing access management to additional users and allow you to set the level of permissions you give those users (parent will typically get permission to everything while Nanny only some of the features). We also allow team collaboration around events that happened to your baby where every user can add comments, this promotes collaboration between parents or nanny.

Bought it but it deleted all my newborn photos. No way to get it back. No warning. Just gone all of a sudden. Besides being stupidly expensive there are many alternatives out there that don't delete once in a lifetime memories of your baby.
