MyGoal is an Apple Watch match tracker built for amateur footballers. Raise your wrist to start, lower it at the final whistle — goals, routes, heart rate and match stats all log automatically, with a full report after the game. It runs natively on the Watch, so your phone stays in your bag, off the pitch. No ads, no tracking, never touches your data. Most fitness apps are made for runners or the gym — none get football. Built by someone who plays ~100 games a year, for players like him.
Hey PH 👋
I'm the maker of mygoal — an indie dev with a day job who codes at night, and an amateur footballer who plays 100+ pickup games a year.
The reason I built this is honestly kind of dumb: I wanted to know how far I actually ran each match, how many I scored, how high my heart rate spiked. But every app on the store is built for runners or the gym — none of them really get football. Either I had to carry my phone onto the pitch (and watch it go flying), or I'd finish with a pile of numbers I had to do the math on myself.
So I made my own: raise your wrist to start, raise it to stop, and goals, routes, heart rate and match stats all get logged automatically — running natively on the Apple Watch, phone safe in the bag. From v1.0 to today, almost every feature came from me tweaking it between matches: if a number looked off, or a tap was too slow to hit mid-game, it got fixed in the next version.
No ads, no tracking, never touches your data. I just wanted a tool that works for players like me.
This one's for everyone who loves the game and is still out there running on the pitch. ⚽
