PhD tools are scattered: a reference manager here, a spreadsheet of milestones there, a Word doc your supervisor never sees. My PhD puts it in one place: track your progress, get AI summaries of your library, draft chapters that only cite papers you've actually read, find journals that fit, and share a live read-only snapshot with your supervisor.
As a PhD student myself, I initially built this tool for myself in 2024, but I shared it with friends who are also researchers and PhD students, and they seemed to enjoy it a lot. So I decided to launch it in 2025. It attracted a lot of students who became customers, but given the high amount of feedback they gave me, I paused the project to fully redesign it, and now I am launching a better product!
