Hey Product Hunt — I’m Alan, the maker of MXT8. I built MXT8 because playlist links are useful, but they rarely feel like gifts. The order of the songs can mean something. The label, note, date and memory around them can mean even more. MXT8 turns that idea into a two-sided digital tape: up to eight songs per side, a personal note, an optional Memory Place and up to twelve Polaroid-style photos. You send one link; the recipient opens it as a keepsake, hands the music off to Apple Music or Spotify, and can save the tape to their shelf. The important boundary is that MXT8 never hosts commercial music audio. It preserves the crafted object and metadata around the music, while music services handle the listening. This is an early launch, and I’d really value feedback on two things: 1. Does receiving an MXT8 feel meaningfully different from getting a playlist? 2.
