We asked us: What if creative AI felt less like a tool you operate and more like a partner you think with?
As we worked with design teams and explored different AI image workflows and tools, we kept running into the same friction. Some tools are powerful but too complex, others are easy to use but too limited for real creative exploration. That tension made us realize that creative teams might need something different. More intuitive, flexible, and made for ideation, not just output.
We believe the future of creative work is about shaping ideas together, iterating on them, discussing them, and building on them until they feel ready for the next step. The creative work should stay with the creatives. AI should just enhance that process and not replace it.
That belief is what led us to MuseBoard: a space for AI-powered visual ideation that helps teams explore, refine, and develop ideas in a more natural way. We want to make creative workflows feel less fragmented, less technical, and more human.
Also important for us is, that open-source AI and European sovereignty should be part of the same conversation. If creative teams increasingly rely on AI to shape ideas and build visual work, then the underlying models, infrastructure, and data control matter just as much as the interface. We use open-source models and host them with a European provider, so teams can create with more trust, more control, and less dependence on external platforms.
We re in a still early stage of our tool and we want to build this together with people who care about better creative tools. If this vision resonates with you, we d love to hear your thoughts.
