Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Camille, the lead tech and product developer of Muse Co-Creator.
One question shaped Muse more than any other: how should AI ethically fit into creative writing? I read 100+ books a year, so I'm knee-deep in this debate constantly. The conversation tends to be binary (you either "used AI" or you didn't), but brainstorming plot ideas with AI is very different from having it write entire unedited chapters.
Most writing tools either push AI into everything or ignore it completely, and readers rarely know how a book was made. That uncertainty erodes trust across the whole publishing industry.
We believe great stories come from real people, and that technology should amplify the creative voice, not replace it. So we built a writing app where you choose how much AI you want to use (including none) and make that choice visible to your readers.
