Mukaan is a private planning app for friends and for yourself. Make one-off or repeating plans, see who’s actually in, get a clear check-in window when it’s time, and keep a simple memory of what happened. No feeds, followers, streaks, or guilt. Just plans that move from “we should” to “we did.”
Hey Product Hunt 👋
Mukaan started with a very ordinary problem: plans disappear inside chats.
Someone says “we should do this,” a few people react, maybe someone suggests a time, and then days later nobody is quite sure who is actually in, whether the plan is still happening, or what was agreed.
Calendars are great at storing dates, but they don’t really handle agreement between people. Social apps are great at sharing what happened, but they aren’t designed to help make it happen in the first place.
That’s the space we wanted Mukaan to sit in.
You make a plan, invite a crew or keep it just for yourself, and everyone chooses whether they’re in. When the time comes, a check-in window opens. After the plan is done, it becomes a memory you can look back on.
While building Mukaan, we actually kept removing things. Personal scores, streaks, public feeds, followers, leaderboards. Anything that made it feel like people were being graded instead of helped.
What stayed was the part that mattered:
plan → agreement → check-in → memory
Mukaan is private by design, works for one-off and repeating plans, and also treats solo plans as a real part of the product rather than an afterthought.
The idea is simple:
Turn “we should” into “we did.”
I’d really love feedback on whether that flow feels as simple and natural to you as we’ve tried to make it.
