MrTask started from a pattern we kept seeing in small service businesses. The job itself was never the hard part. Getting it scheduled, getting the crew dispatched, getting the work documented and getting the invoice paid was the hard part, and it was being run across a notepad, a phone and three apps that did not talk to each other. Every tool that handled it properly was built for enterprise operations and priced that way. A shop with one truck and a few techs got the leftovers. So we made MrTask deliberately narrow. Schedule, dispatch, document, invoice, get paid. A mobile app a crew will actually open on a job site, work orders that let you split a big project into jobs you can hand out, and a QuickBooks sync so the books are not a second job at the end of the week. We are a small team in Atlanta building for US contractors. We would rather hear what is missing than what is nice, so if you run a service business, tell us where this falls short.
