I built Motion Hero because creating Apple-style product pages in Shopify usually means custom GSAP work, manual timelines, and a lot of development time. Motion Hero makes that visual. Upload a video, choose how it should play, and build the experience in the editor. You can create frame-by-frame scroll video, guided play/pause/scroll sequences, or use it as a normal video player. You can also add text, images, buttons, icons and shapes at specific moments and control everything from a timeline. I’d really like feedback from Shopify merchants and developers on the editor and scroll experience.

Have you used GSAP animations on a Shopify store?

GSAP can create some amazing experiences on Shopify, especially things like scroll-triggered animations, frame-by-frame video, product storytelling and Apple-style product sections.

But traditionally it means custom development, careful performance optimization and quite a bit of setup.

Do you use video players/editors on your store, or just YouTube?

Do you usually:

embed YouTube or Vimeo videos
use a dedicated video player app
use a video editor before uploading
build custom interactive video sections

One of the things I m trying to understand better is whether merchants actually want more control over video directly inside their store, or if a simple YouTube embed is still enough for most use cases.
