Hi, I made this. I'm not great at keeping in touch with people I care about, and nothing I tried stuck, so I built my own. It's for the handful of people you'd be sad to lose touch with. I capped it at twelve on purpose. The first thing people ask is whether it reads your messages. It can't. No iOS app can. What it does is log that you tapped Call or WhatsApp inside Moons. If you rang someone from the Phone app instead, Moons has no idea, so you press and hold their face and log it yourself. I went back and forth on whether that's too much friction. It isn't. It takes a second and it means the app is never guessing. Nothing leaves the phone. There's no account and no server, and the privacy label says "Data Not Collected" because there's nothing to collect. The downside is I know almost nothing about who uses it. Three people are free for as long as you like. £2.99 unlocks all twelve. Another £1.99 gets you up to four groups, say one for a client and one for the school run, or it's £4.99 for everything in one go. No subscription. Twelve per group is a hard cap.
