Hi Product Hunt! I'm Ahmet, the solo developer behind MoodJot.
I started building this because I was frustrated with existing mood trackers. Apps like Daylio (58K reviews) and DailyBean (68K reviews) are great for personal tracking, but they treat mental health as a purely solo activity. I believe knowing that someone else had a similar day to yours is incredibly powerful.
That's why I built MoodJot with a community feed at its core. You can choose to share your moods publicly, see how others are feeling, and send a like to show support. It's anonymous by default -- just genuine human connection.
Some things I'm proud of:
- Photo attachments on mood entries (Daylio, Moodfit, and Bearable all lack this)
- A 10-point intensity scale instead of the standard 5 levels
- AI insights that actually tell you what's influencing your mood
- 3 types of home screen widgets I just shipped in v2.1.5
- The entire app runs from a single Kotlin Multiplatform codebase
I'd love your honest feedback -- what would make MoodJot your go-to mood tracker? What's missing?
