Hey Product Hunt, I’m Wayne, the founder of Monitrova. Monitrova has just been soft launched and is now open for registration. I built it because I was tired of website monitoring tools that technically worked, but trained me to ignore them. A short server wobble becomes an email. A slow WordPress site flips between broken and recovered all day. A database crash gets reported as an SEO issue because the audit ran against an error page. Monitrova is my attempt to make website monitoring quieter and more useful for freelancers, small agencies and people looking after client sites. It monitors uptime, SSL certificate health and homepage health on one timeline per site. The part I care most about is the alert pipeline: Non-critical issues can wait for confirmation before alerting. Repeated open/recover loops can be grouped into a daily digest. Recovery emails are suppressed if the original alert was never sent. Backend errors are classified as backend incidents, not SEO problems. It is still early, so I’m not pretending everything is perfect. The goal of this launch is to get real feedback from people who maintain websites and know how annoying noisy monitoring can be. I’d especially love feedback on: Whether the alert logic makes sense What you would want to see in an incident view What would make this useful for freelancers and small agencies Whether the free and paid plans feel fair Thanks for taking a look.

Hi Wayne, just a thought that came to my mind when I read about your product one-liner ("Website monitoring that tries not to spam you.") - using the expression "tries not to" makes it sound like you're not very confident about it. I get the concept and what you mean, just thought I'd share my thoughts hoping you find them helpful.

I ve been quietly building Monitrova, and it has grown into something much bigger than a basic uptime monitor.

The idea is simple: know when something is wrong with a website before your client calls you.

Monitrova now watches more than whether a server returns HTTP 200.

Share your uptime without sharing your login

Monitrova now has an opt-in public status page. Turn it on from your account settings and you get a private link you can send to a client, a team, or anyone who keeps asking whether the site is up.

One link, no login. Shows 30-day uptime, which sites are up, anything down right now, and open incidents. Whoever you send it to just opens it.

You control the link. Rotate it to invalidate the old one, or switch the page off entirely and it stops resolving. Off by default.

Nothing private leaks. The page shows friendly site names and uptime numbers only. No URLs, no alert addresses, no request details. It's set to noindex, so it won't turn up in search.

Check any site instantly from the homepage. Type a URL at the top of the page and get a live uptime result status, response time and HTTP code without signing up.
See who it s for (and who it isn t). A new honest-fit section and a one tool instead of four value summary make it clear whether Monitrova is the right fit for you.
All the free tools, front and centre. The full set of no-signup checkers now has its own section on the homepage, not just a menu link.
A cleaner, faster-to-scan page. Reworked sections and clearer navigation, plus a live numbers strip showing checks run, incidents caught and sites monitored.
