MirrorMuse is the AI beauty assistant that critiques your makeup, lets you try on looks before you commit, and helps you find your signature. Instead of telling you you look amazing, MirrorMuse scores your makeup 1 to 10 across four dimensions and names exactly what's letting it down. Try 60 shades on your face. Get palette guidance built around your features. London-built. Accurate across every skin tone.

Hey PH! Paul here, founder of MirrorMuse.
There's a structural reason I built this because every beauty app. Beauty tech has been optimized for flattery. Filters smooth. Recommendations push products. AI "analysis" tells you to feel confident.
MirrorMuse does the opposite. You take a photo, and it scores your makeup 1 to 10 across four dimensions (Harmony, Technique, Choice, Polish) and tells you specifically what's letting it down. Not "great look!" Not "try this product!" Just: "your eyeliner is uneven on the left side, and the lip colour clashes with your undertone, here's how to fix both."
Three other things it does:
• Try-On: 60 lipstick, eyeshadow, blush, and brow shades rendered on your face in under a minute.
• Face Analysis: maps skin tone, undertone, face shape, eye shape, lip fullness, and brow shape. Benchmarked accurate across ALL six Fitzpatrick ranges before launch (most face-analysis AI fails on darker skin).
• Editorial Coach: one daily tip, no algorithmic feed.
What's different about the build:
• Photos processed once and deleted. No training data. No data sale. No ads.
• Free tier is one-time use, not monthly resetting. Using "free tier resets this month" to upsell felt manipulative.
• Solo founder, built in London, live in 174 countries.
I'd love your roast. The harshest reaction I've gotten in a user test was "this is brutal", which was the goal, but I want to know if I went too far. Try it, score your last makeup look, and tell me what feels off.
