Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built minimo because I needed something surprisingly simple: **make a video smaller without uploading it somewhere first.** A lot of video compression tools either send your files to a server, require an account, or eventually lead you to a subscription. That felt like a lot for something my phone is perfectly capable of doing itself. So I built minimo around one constraint: **video processing stays on your device.** What started as a small side project has now turned into something people other than me are actually using — and the feedback so far has honestly been my favorite part of building it. Every review, suggestion, and message from someone who found minimo useful still feels a little surreal. I decided to make the project free and open source as well.
