Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Steve, the founder of MindDrive.
I originally built MindDrive for myself, to keep track of my own recovery. I was trying to understand how pain, sleep, food, exercise, work and relationships affected each other. These were connected parts of my life, but my notes and trackers kept them separate.
I wanted somewhere to capture what was happening, find it again later, and bring those pieces together. I couldn’t find the combination I was looking for elsewhere, so I started building it.
That became MindDrive, an AI journal and notes app built around your own life.
You can write or dictate entries, organize them into folders, and search by meaning when you can’t remember the exact words. But a few things were especially important to me in making MindDrive different.
App Connect brings information from other apps into your journal, giving your thoughts more context without retyping everything.
An MCP server lets you send takeaways from compatible AI apps into MindDrive as new drafts or entries.
A separate Chat space is there when you want it. You can simply journal and take notes, then open Chat whenever you want to explore what you’ve recorded.
Within Chat, you can choose folders to compare and look for connections between different parts of your life, such as sleep and work, or meals and recovery. You can also open the entries behind an answer and revisit the original context.
I’d love to hear what you would want to ask your own journal, and whether this separation between writing and optional Chat feels useful to you.
Thanks for taking a look. I’m looking forward to your feedback.
