We built MiMSMS out of a very real frustration we faced while working with businesses in Bangladesh and beyond—sending reliable, fast, and branded SMS at scale was either too expensive, too inconsistent, or too developer-unfriendly. Most existing SMS solutions were either: Not optimized for local delivery performance Lacked proper API documentation and flexibility Or didn’t support smooth branding (masking) with consistent delivery rates We wanted to change that. So MiMSMS was created as a developer-first Bulk SMS API platform, focused on simplicity, reliability, and scalability. From OTP verification to promotional campaigns, our goal is to make SMS integration as easy as calling a single API endpoint. While building it, our approach evolved a lot. We started with just a basic SMS gateway, but quickly realized the real need was: Better delivery transparency (real-time reports) Easier onboarding for developers More stable routing for high-volume traffic And strong support for branded/masking SMS So we refined the platform to focus on performance, clarity, and real-world usability, not just features on paper.
