The problem: Auto meters in Indian cities can be physically tampered to run faster than they should. Most passengers have no way to verify if what they're paying is correct — they just trust the meter. **Here's what MeterSahi? does differently:** - Fetches your actual route via Google Maps with live traffic - Estimates real wait time from traffic delay data (not just distance) - Applies the exact official RTO tariff for your city — not a rough estimate - Compares your fare against Uber Auto, Ola Auto & Rapido for the same route - Flags overcharging with a ±₹5 tolerance for legitimate meter rounding - If overcharged, shows you exactly who to call to report it It covers 9 cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Kolkata, Chennai & Ahmedabad — each with their own official rate card. The site also detects your city automatically and redirects you to the right page. Built it as a static site on GitHub Pages — no backend, no tracking beyond GA, no monetisation.
