Love that it's all on-device, the RIFE integration sounds smooth. One thing that would make it perfect for me: adding variable playback speed with the frame interpolation still working correctly. Right now most players fall apart when you go above 1.5x and you get ghosting on motion scenes. Would be great to have presets or a slider that keeps the interpolation balanced at any speed, especially for slower anime cuts where motion blur matters.
Tried it on a few anime episodes and the motion is noticeably smoother without that weird soap-opera effect. RIFE on-device is honestly impressive for an iPhone.
running RIFE entirely on-device is a seriously impressive engineering choice, especially for battery and privacy on iPhones. really cool to see that kind of frame generation work without needing the cloud.
