MeshaSec is a desktop app that helps developers find real security issues in web applications before they ship. It scans authenticated areas using forms, OAuth, JWTs, cookies, and more, tests multiple user roles, and explains every finding with AI. Everything runs locally, so your code, credentials, and scan data never leave your machine.

👋 Hey Product Hunt! I'm Sainadh, founder of MeshaSec.
Thanks for checking us out!
The idea for MeshaSec came from a frustration I kept seeing while building web applications. Most security scanners are powerful, but they're built for security experts and often struggle to test the parts of an application that require logging in.
We wanted to build something developers could actually use before every release.
That's why we built MeshaSec.
It's a desktop application that automatically signs into your web app, scans areas protected behind login forms and MFA, and tests multiple user roles to uncover security issues that are easy to miss.
One thing we cared about from day one was privacy. Everything runs locally on your computer, so your source code, credentials, API keys, and scan data never leave your machine.
AI in MeshaSec acts as your security assistant by explaining findings in plain English, recommending fixes, answering questions, and even helping you create Jira tickets directly from the chat so your team can start fixing issues faster.
We're launching our free Windows Beta today and would genuinely love your feedback.
A question for fellow developers: How do you currently test your web applications for security before releasing them? Is it mostly manual testing, automated scanners, code reviews, or something else?
I'll be around all day to answer questions, collect feedback, and discuss the roadmap.
Thanks so much for checking out MeshaSec! ❤️
A dev-friendly security scanner that handles authenticated areas and runs fully locally is exactly what teams need pre-release. Congrats on shipping, Sainadh!

@zvonimir_sabljic1 Thank you! That was one of our main goals—making security testing developer-friendly without compromising privacy. It's 100% free, works with your own AI API or a local Ollama model, and lets you launch scans, analyze results, and create Jira tickets directly from the AI chat interface.
