The goal was to make something that feels instantly fun from the first round: - join a room - pick a caption for a meme - vote for the funniest one - blame the judge when the result feels unfair What I cared about most was lowering the friction. Meme Battle is browser-based, easy to share, and can even be saved to your home screen as a PWA, so it’s quick to start and easy to come back to. I also wanted it to work for people who aren’t “meme game people.” You shouldn’t need prior context, a learning curve, or a deck of cards — just funny friends and questionable decisions.
