Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Barron, the maker of MeKeto.
I built MeKeto because practical keto information is often scattered across generic macro calculators, food lists, restaurant articles, and long blog posts. I wanted to create one fast, free place where people could answer the questions that come up throughout an actual keto journey:
• What should my daily macros be?
• How many net carbs are in this food?
• How long might it take to reach ketosis?
• Am I getting enough electrolytes?
• What can I order at a restaurant?
• How might my weight-loss timeline look?
MeKeto now includes 18 calculators and tools, a searchable database of 268 foods with clear keto verdicts and better-swap suggestions, restaurant ordering guides, and an educational resource library.
Everything is free. There is no account to create, no paywall, and no personal health profile stored. The calculators run directly in the browser and use established, published formulas rather than unexplained black-box results.
Some of the tools include:
• Keto Macro Calculator
• Net Carb Calculator
• Ketosis Estimator
• Electrolyte Calculator
• Keto Weight-Loss Calculator
• Intermittent Fasting + Keto Calculator
• Cyclical and Targeted Keto Calculators
• Women’s Keto and Keto Over 40 tools
• Carnivore, Lazy Keto, and Dirty Keto calculators
I would especially appreciate feedback on three things:
1. Which calculator or tool should I add next?
2. Is the food checker clear and useful?
3. What restaurant or grocery guides would you like to see?
One transparent business note: MeKeto was built as both a useful public resource and a transferable digital asset. It is currently available for acquisition as a package with TDEEMacroCalculator.com, a complementary general-nutrition calculator property.
The acquisition opportunity is intended for a nutrition publisher, health or fitness brand, affiliate operator, SEO portfolio owner, media company, or strategic buyer that wants a substantial production-ready foundation rather than starting from scratch [https://squarepegideas.com/meket...]. Both products will remain live and free during the sale process.
More acquisition information is included in the investor section of this listing.
Thanks for taking a look. I’d genuinely value your feedback.

The restaurant ordering guides are super useful for eating out on keto, but adding a barcode scanner to pull items straight from packaged food labels would save a lot of manual lookup time. Could be a huge win for grocery trips and convenience meals.

@kenan784649 Thank you for your comment, and idea. A barcode scanner would be great, but I would also have to start charging for the app to cover the costs. Definitely worth considering, though. Thanks for your comment and input!

@kenan784649 Thank you for your comment. I tried replying on launch day, but it doesn't look like the comment saved properly. I think the barcode scanner is a great idea, but it would also mean adding a paid tier to cover the cost of using the barcode scanning feature, due to significantly increased infrastructure costs. I am going to keep it on the potential roadmap though. Thank you.

The restaurant ordering guides were a nice touch since I never know what to pick at Chipotle. Macro calculator loaded instantly without making me sign up, which I appreciated.

the no signup thing is honestly such a nice call, just getting straight into the calculators without the usual email gate feels like it respects the user's time. also love that the food database is searchable instead of just a static list.

honestly love that there is no signup or paywall blocking all 18 calculators, makes it way easier to actually use instead of getting hit with a paywall after one calculation.
