Have you ever been stuck on something on your computer and thought:
“How the hell am I supposed to explain what I’m seeing to an AI?"
You’re looking at an error, a confusing website, a design you’re working on, a setting you can’t find, or something that just isn’t behaving the way it should.
So you take a screenshot.
Upload it.
Explain what you’re looking at.
Get an answer.
Then something changes, and suddenly you have to take another screenshot and explain everything again.
I hated that workflow.
So I started building Louie
Louie is an AI companion that can see your screen and talk with you about what you’re doing.
You share your screen, start talking, and Louie can understand the visual context behind your questions.
You can say things like:
“Why isn't this working?”
“What am I doing wrong here?”
“How do I do this?”
“What does this error mean?”
“Can you explain what I’m looking at?”
And instead of having to stop and describe your screen, Louie can actually see it.
The goal isn't to make another chatbot with a microphone button.
Louie feels more like someone is sitting next to you at your computer — someone you can talk to naturally, who can see what you're seeing and help you figure things out.
It can also search the web for results in your prompt by just seeing your screen it never works without you activating it, if you stopped the call it will shut down.
It can also generate an image from what it's seeing on your screen which is pretty interesting
And eventually, I want Louie to go beyond just answering questions.
I want it to understand what you're trying to accomplish and actually help you get things done.
Louie is still early, and there’s a lot I want to improve.
So I’m launching it here because I want to hear from people who actually use it:
