Hey Product Hunt, MedsReminder is a small, focused product. It places a real phone call when it's time to take medication, for yourself or for someone you're caring for. The starting point was a fact that stuck with me: roughly half of medication for chronic conditions doesn't get taken as prescribed, and in most of those cases the person didn't forget on purpose, the reminder just failed them. A push notification is easy to swipe away without reading. An app assumes everyone has a smartphone and the patience to learn a new one, which isn't true for a lot of older patients. A phone call doesn't have that problem. It rings on a smartphone, a flip phone, or a landline, so it reaches whoever's holding the phone. How it works: set a schedule per medication (three times a day, twice daily, daily, or weekly), choose who the call goes to, yourself or someone you look after, and every call attempt gets logged so nothing relies on memory. It's built on the same voice-call infrastructure behind DoNotify, which I also launched here on Product Hunt.
