Hi! The idea behind Medir started years ago during my Bachelor’s final project in Nutrition. I explored how technology could improve nutritional planning, but I never turned it into a complete product. After working in clinical nutrition, learning software development, and continuing my research in Translational Medicine, I came back to the idea. For the past two years, I’ve been building Medir from the ground up. A lot of what Medir can do comes directly from problems I encounter in real clinical practice: considering the patient’s context, food variety and frequency, creating realistic meals, working with real food composition data, and supporting oral, enteral, and parenteral nutrition. The result is an agentic clinical nutrition platform where AI can use dedicated tools, query six food databases, perform nutritional calculations, and help build structured nutrition plans. I built Medir largely on my own, and I’m launching it here because I’d love to get feedback from other builders, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in AI applied to real clinical workflows.
