Hi Product Hunt! I'm Prasad, and I built Me&Team because team task tools kept telling me what was assigned but not how far along it really was.
Me&Team lives in your browser's New Tab. Every time you open a tab you see two short lists: what's assigned to you, and what you assigned to others, each with a progress bar that turns orange or red when it falls behind its due date.
A few things that make it different: Shares, not just assignees: split a task 60/40 between two people; overall progress adds up by itself.
Honest progress: it only moves forward, and every update needs a short comment.
Approval tasks: tick a box and a manager accepts or rejects each update.
Any depth: a CEO's yearly KPIs can be split by department heads, then by team leads, and so on. Progress rolls all the way up.
