Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm a dad with zero coding background who built Marshmallow Reading from scratch. The inspiration came from watching my own kids read. I wanted a way to track the books they were getting through and reward them for it — but with something that would actually appreciate in value over time, the way a real investment should. Stickers fade, points expire, screen time gets used up. Sats don't. That was the whole idea: compile their reading, pay them in real Bitcoin, and let those rewards grow with them. The build evolved a lot. It started as a simple tracker, then I added Stripe subscriptions, then a self-hosted Bitcoin node and BTCPay Server for payouts (no custodians, no middleman), then a "50 First Families" launch program where the first 50 subscribers get a 10,000 sat bonus deposited automatically. Every line of code was written with AI assistance, which is wild to think about as someone who'd never programmed before this year.
