Mars was built to solve a simple but real problem: information feels scattered, filtered, and harder to trust or follow in real time. We wanted a place where people can see what is actually happening without jumping between multiple platforms, algorithms hiding content, or endless noise. At the same time, we didn’t want another closed system controlled by a single direction of content flow. While building it, the approach evolved from “just a news feed” into something more open and interaction-driven — where visibility comes from engagement and relevance, not hidden ranking rules. The focus shifted heavily toward speed, clarity, and making participation feel natural, especially for younger users who expect everything to be instant and intuitive. Mars is still evolving, but the direction is clear: a simpler, more open way to follow what matters.
