This is great — and wish it just integrated w/ Chrome Bookmarks, so I could use native web controls (favorites, upvotes, etc) to create Chrome Bookmarks, organized by source (so I wouldn't need to visit each service to see these links).
Kind of reminds me of a Gimme Bar, but with less effort!
@dnmjd especially w/ the new Chrome Bookmarks experience (extension), this would be an awesome way to feed stuff into my bookmarks. FWIW, this is related to an idea I designed for Flock called Breadcrumbs, a web browser circa 2007.
@chrismessina 2007.. way ahead of the game :)
Chrome Bookmarks is quite amazing – wasn't aware of it, so thanks for that. Based on the feedback I have received so far, I'm aiming to open up the API next so that getting bookmark data in and out (to Chrome Bookmarks in this case) is more flexible. Any thoughts on this direction?
Love this! I used to be a big fan of delicious to track articles to read /refer back to later but management has become too much. Markbook looks like it can help! I do echo peoples questions about categories for easy retrieval later. Great job!
@afhill Thanks so much Andrea. Categories is high on the to do list :) Make sure to leave your email after signing in with Twitter to get notified of product updates!
Cool tool made by my buddy @dnmjd! With Marbook you can collect your favorites, upvotes and stars from Twitter, Product Hunt, HackerNews, Github and Medium. Super cool!
