Marcus AI turns habit-building into a conversation. Chat with AI versions of 8 philosophers — Marcus Aurelius, Socrates, Seneca & more — who don't just talk: they create your habits, log check-ins, and track streaks. Free habit tracking on iOS & Android.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Yair, the founder/creator Trail Worm LLC and am now launching Marcus AI: Habit Tracker.
I've been into philosophy since college, almost minored in it, and separately I'd wanted a simple habit tracker for years now. Most trackers are just a grid of checkboxes; overly gamified and nothing special.
So I spent the last 6 months building an app that combined my love for philosophy, deep thought, and conversation with my everlasting desire for a habit tracker to help me stay on top of my own productivity and routine.
Marcus AI: Habit Tracker lets you build habits by talking to AI versions of 8 different philosophers: Marcus Aurelius, Socrates, Seneca, Epictetus, Aristotle, Confucius, Descartes, and Siddhartha Gautama (The Buddha). With many more philosophers planned.
Marcus AI is not just an AI chatbot, but your AI philosopher assistant reads your habit data, learns your routine, and builds a relationship with you to not only help you build better habits, but to also teach you the philosophy you're interested in at the same time.
The AI philosopher can create, edit, and check in your habits for you on request so you can skip all the box ticking, skip all the typing, and ask Marcus Aurelius to do it all for you.
The habit tracking side of the app is free on iOS and Android.
The philosopher chat + analytics are the premium part, and you can try out the chat with a short free preview provided to all new users.
This is my first launch and I'd genuinely love your feedback.
Which philosopher you'd talk to, what's confusing, and what's missing.
Thanks for checking it out!
does it actually log the check ins for me if I just tell seneca i meditated today, or do i still have to manually tap something to count it toward the streak
@dilankapanyzmt Hi! It currently doesn't have a full hands-free mode but the next planned feature is a voice to voice call with the AI philosopher and that will also include the AI making hands-free actions for you.
How well does Marcus actually adapt when I miss a streak for a few days, does it stay encouraging or does it get preachy like some accountability apps?
@enverkizlewftp No philosopher on the app should get too preachy, and next update will include a feedback section for you to provide feedback on low quality performance + why you didn't like it which will allow the general user-base to polish off any rough edges. Good question.
