- Create a mapsie, pick a PIN for people who should be able to add countries, cities, tips, +1 spots, and edit. And make it personal with emojis. - Share a normal link in WhatsApp / iMessage / email. After someone unlocks with the PIN, it remembers them with a cookie for a long stretch (~90 days). - Want outsiders to browse without editing? Turn on read-only mode in settings: anyone with the link can view the map and lists, but likes / adds / edits still require the PIN.

Hey peeps 👋 Maker here.
Quick question for you to get this started. What's your current chaos workflow for group trips / “where should we eat” threads—Google Maps shared lists, Notion even, a spreadsheet, or pure screenshot chaos?
Mapsies.com is intentionally boring-tech: PIN = edit permission, optional read-only link for viewers, no accounts. I’m curious which part you’d change first:
onboarding for first-time friends, general UX, something you’d expect (comments? voting? imports)?
If you try it, tell me what broke—I’ll read every comment and adapt quickly.
