I'm Masdouk, founder of Maliah (Montréal, Québec).

Maliah started with a very ordinary night: 3 a.m., a baby in one arm, a phone in the other hand, trying to remember which side the last feed was and typing it into a form with my thumb. Every baby app I tried was a form. None spoke French. All of them wanted my data.

So we built the opposite:

• You speak, it's logged. "Noah had 4 oz on the right side 20 minutes ago" lands in the right place, with its time and its author, and you can undo it in one tap.

• The whole family sees the same log, in real time: partner, grandparents, the sitter, the daycare. One account per person, each with their own level of access.

• Each child is followed at their own stage, from pregnancy to childhood. Twins, a toddler and a newborn: no problem.

• No medical advice, ever. Maliah never calculates a dose and never tells you what's "normal". It writes down what you said, and gives you a summary ready for the doctor.

• Data hosted in Canada, encrypted, exportable, deletable. No analytics SDK inside the app. Québec's Law 25, PIPEDA and GDPR.

• French (Québec) first, English and Spanish too. Each family member picks their language.
