Hey everyone 👋 I built Make Me Productive – YouTube Focus Buddy because, like many of us, I’d open YouTube to learn one thing… and somehow end up watching cat videos or late-night talk show clips 😅. I didn’t want to block YouTube entirely — I wanted to transform it into a space for focus and growth. That’s how this extension came to life. It hides distractions, adds a simple to-do list, focus timer, and motivational quotes — turning your YouTube homepage into a personal productivity hub. What started as a small side experiment became an open-source project to help learners, creators, and professionals use YouTube more intentionally.
