What inspired it: I skipped changing my HVAC filter for too long. System seized in January. $5,400 repair bill, no heat for two days. I'm a developer so I built the thing I wished existed.
The problem I was solving: Every maintenance app I tried picked a lane. Car-only. Home-only. Basic checklist with no intelligence. Nothing tracked mileage-based motorcycle intervals, understood climate-specific home schedules, or combined all three in one place. I own a home, a car, and a motorcycle. I needed one app.
How it evolved: What started as a simple reminder app grew into something much bigger - AI home setup by climate zone, VIN scanner with CARFAX, warranty tracking, appliance scanning, budget forecasting, and full moto support with chain lube intervals, valve checks, and tire age by DOT date.
One of my first users messaged me last week: "I should've had Maintain--It years ago. I neglected my hot water boiler and woke up at 5am to it pouring black smoke. $2,000 later and 10 hours of no heat."
That's exactly why I built this. Deferred maintenance is expensive and completely preventable.
