Your tasks earn XP. Your focus is scored. Your friends hold you to it. A real-life RPG, designed for ADHD brains. Free on Android, Web & iOS.

Hey Product Hunt! š
We created MainQuest because we genuinely tried lots of productivity apps that exist. They all worked for a few days and then life happend - so they became something we avoided opening out of guilt.
What MainQuest does:
Turns your actual tasks and habits into quests that give you real XP;
Tracks skills and stats that level up as you build real-world consistency;
Has an AI-companion (Kodan) that reacts to how you're actually doing, not
just a static checklist;
Where does the time actually go?
Start a timer on what you're actually working on ā and
those minutes count as real progress, not just a checkbox with no record of the work behind it.
What's actually at stake?
This isn't a number that quietly resets. Ignore your quests long enough and
your HP takes real damage ā enough of it, and you're down until someone
brings you back. Skipping a day actually costs you something.
It's live on iOS/Android/web today. Free to start.
Check it out: https://www.mainquest.net/
We would love your feedback ā what quests you'd want to track, what's
missing, what feels gimmicky vs. what actually pulls you back in.
We will be here all day.š
Nice idea. What made you choose the RPG/game approach on this?
@bianca_todoranĀ
Thanks!
Most tools in this space are a to-do list with points bolted on. The loop is still read the list, feel guilty, close the app.
The actual problem we're going for: for ADHD brains, finishing a task feels like nothing. And if it feels like nothing, it doesn't get repeated. Games solved this ages ago. Every action gets a response, every response builds toward something visible, you always know the next move.
It's worse now than ever. AI hands you a finished answer in two seconds, so an hour of real focus or one boring task feels slow and invisible by comparison. MainQuest makes that progress register again: focus gets scored, effort becomes XP, your friends can see it. And it gives you instant feedback and real-time leveling up.
The RPG isn't the point. It's the frame that makes real progress feel as real as it is.
I really like the look & feel, congrats!
My suggestion would be to reconsider the login prior to trial, this is a huge blocker (I am testing the Web version). Perhaps let users go forward, and then request login if they want to save or unlock other features.
Hey Product Hunt! š
Before we built MainQuest, I kept quitting productivity apps. Every one of them worked for about a week, then turned into an icon I avoided out of guilt.
So we made one where showing up actually counts for something:
⢠Your real tasks and habits become quests that pay real XP
⢠Skills and stats level up as you stay consistent in real life
⢠Kodan, an AI companion, reacts to how you're actually doing ā not a static checklist
⢠A timer logs where your hours really went, so the work leaves a record
⢠And there are stakes: ignore your quests and your HP drops. Let it hit zero and you're down until someone revives you. Skipping a day costs you something.

Tell us what's missing ā and what feels gimmicky vs. what actually pulls you back.
I'll be hanging out in the comments all day to answer questions, take notes, and hear your thoughts. Thanks for checking it out!
Used it during beta, really enjoyed it. Felt genuinely different than the usual productivity apps with a gamified system bolted on.
