Mail attachments often arrive in formats that are inconvenient precisely when the message is sensitive. I built Mail File Viewer so winmail.dat/TNEF and EML files can be read without handing the message to another server. Parsing, body sanitization, inline-image replacement, PDF preview, and ZIP creation all happen in browser memory. Remote images are not even placed in the document until the user allows them for that one message, which avoids the common tracking-pixel surprise. This release adds complete Japanese, German, and Indonesian interfaces alongside English, including parser errors and security notices. I would value feedback on unusual but non-private fixtures, attachment workflows, and whether the remote-image boundary is understandable before a user clicks it.
