Hi, Product Hunters! 🤠 I’m Dobri, one of the co-founders at Magnimetrics. I am super excited to share our project with this fantastic tech community! 👩‍💻👨‍💻 Let’s face it, FP&A-in-a-spreadsheet sucks! It’s highly manual ⚒, there’s little to no version control ⚙ (unless you like filenames like "CY2022 Budget_ver4_final_FINAL_new_2.xlsx"), it’s error-prone 🧨, and it requires you to track all the data sources manually. Yuck! 🤮 Large enterprises are doing fine. They can afford to staff entire departments and deploy complex, expensive software to tackle their FP&A needs. 💰 🦸‍♀️ But what about small companies, individual business owners, and consultants? 🦸‍♂️They are all left out in the cold. ❄ We want even “the little guy” to benefit from the same high-quality insights and reports in order to make educated decisions in real-time. That’s why we started building Magnimetrics. We are the definition of a bootstrapped team (of 2), but we have a clear line of sight to revenues and are passionate about our product which we developed without raising any outside capital. 🦄 I am thrilled to announce that our Beta version is now live for you to try out! 🚀 While the beta has limited functionality, here are some of the features we plan to offer soon, thus bringing joy ✨ into the life of the FP&A one-man-shows out there! 📥 Seamless Data Imports (Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, etc.) 🎮 Analyses automation powered by various modeling options ♻ Template availability as part of our library or the ability to build your own 🧮 Easy definition of essential formulas and assumptions to ensure consistency 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Effortless sharing of templates with the broader community 🎛 Complete data control Our goal is to build an FP&A solution that helps you turn tasks around faster ⏳, so you can stop worrying about deadlines and spend the weekend on the beach. 🏖 If you are an existing user of Magnimetrics, please share your feedback and suggestions below.
