LYRA is a windows runtime, GPU driven music visualizer for Windows. Detects any sound that gets played on your system; changes of colors based on the music cover that is plalying in spotify, somehwere on your device e.g. youtube, google as well; watch it become a living nebula or spiral galaxy that reacts to every beat. Free download. A private project — not affiliated with Spotify or others.

My independent fun made project is still in development.LYRA It is a runtime, GPU driven based music visualizer for Windows. When building projects, I prioritize visual performance and aesthetic world building over everything else, which is why I built this peace.
LYRA is just a portable .exe yet. So basically just unzip and launch.
Not sure when you see this but as of 14th of June 2026, the visualiser currently features two distinct, highly reactive scenes running at 60-240 fps
This includes:
The Nebula: which is a million particle stellar nursery that detects a songs stem (Bass) and ignites simulitaneously with the the beat.
The Supercluster: spiral galaxy featuring volumetric dust arms and a vortexing core. Track changes send a density wave through the scene and stars, and the hardest drops of a song launch an impulse shockwave.
System Requirements
Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit).
A capable GPU. I have built and tested on an RTX 5090 GPU, but it has settings to drop, to lower particle tiers for lighter hardware (more information in the repo).
You can download it for free directly from my GitHub repository.
I would love to hear what you guys think, especially regarding performance on different hardware setups because I didnt had the chance to think about it yet. Thanks and Enjoy
