Most apps let you record and share immediately. Lumideo does the opposite — you record today, lock it, and it's sealed until a date you choose. No one can open it early. Not you, not the recipient. The result: a message from your past self arrives exactly when it matters — a birthday, an anniversary, a milestone. It's the only app built around emotional delay as a feature, not a bug.
I built Lumideo after recording a video for myself before leaving for a big trip — something I could open when I came back, like a message from a version of me that didn't know yet how it would go.
That moment made me realize how powerful it is to receive something from your past self at exactly the right time.
Most apps are built for now. Lumideo is built for later.
Is there a moment in your life you wish you had captured — a birthday, a trip, something you were about to go through?
